The Product Design team is organized by the audience we design for: Consumers, Dashers, Merchants, International, New Verticals and our teammates. Our product designers are generalists leading the projects from end-to-end.

Design Infrastructure team is the nexus of design and development. Consisting of designers and front-end design technologists, the team pushes the boundaries of design systems, component guidelines, prototyping, and accessibility at DoorDash.

The Research team discovers high-impact insights that enable DoorDash to build delightful products that solve our users’ problems on all three sides. Research informs all aspects of the product life cycle, from product strategy and problem definition to iteration and evaluation. Our team’s focus is on defining and prioritizing problems. When the problem space is well-defined, testing solutions is more objective. We partner with product and design to test solutions early and often, ensuring better product-market fit.

The UX Content Strategy team works to influence the product and design strategy from the content perspective to help make every product as intuitive as possible. The team also establishes content standards and guidelines to champion the consistency and quality of language in our products.  

The Design & Research Operations team works to build scalable solutions that enable and inspire our Design community to work efficiently and produce impactful and high quality results.
